Fall Welcome participants have an additional opportunity to apply to the Leadership Track. This program is ideal for students who are interested in learning more about leadership and becoming leaders on Western’s campus. The “Fast Track,” as it is commonly known, incorporates social events and gives students a chance to get to know other first year students and the staff of Student Activities & Leadership Programs. In addition to that, the “Fast Track” enables students to get involved in campus activities and registered student organizations in their first year. Students are mentored through an intensive program of leadership challenges and are introduced to campus issues. Participants will have the opportunity to attend sessions on Ethics, Leadership, Diversity, and other related topics. Space is limited for this competitive program.

Date: During Fall Welcome (August 25th - August 29th, 2008)
Venue: Bernhard Center
Maximum Enrollment: 40 students

Final decisions regarding Leadership Track participants will be made by August 1st. Participants will be notified by August 1st of their status by email. Please let us know should you have questions in the meantime.
